The way a click-clack plug works is by manually blocking and unblocking the drain with a single press, which gives it its characteristic click. This type of plug is popular for its intuitiveness and the lack of any external levers or mechanisms.

Unlike more complex automatic plugs, click-clack plug does not require additional components, such as levers mounted in the tap or metal rods controlling the opening and closing of the plug. Its operation is limited to a simple click action — pressing the plug to block the flow of water, then pressing again to allow it to drain away. That makes it exceptionally easy to use and maintain.

How do you remove a click-clack plug from the basin?
